Project Description

Rolling, rolling, rolling on the river…Yep, while it wasn’t quite as funky as a boat ride with Creedence Clearwater Revival, when the Stones sailed up the river Thames in 1965, there was quite a lot of fun to be had, albeit mainly in the bar.

Our voyage was a far cry from TV’s Cruising with Jane McDonald. There was no dining with the captain or sun bathing on deck. Instead a cold, dismal morning was spent watching muddy waters roll by through grimy portholes. Brian, Keith and Charlie couldn’t wait to jump ship, but at least fellow passenger Dana Gillespie had some fun. All is revealed in my report from below decks.
